Module 11 — Executive Architecture Pack

Theory 20 minutes + Workshop 60 minutes

Duration: 80 minutes. Artefact produced: executive architecture pack.

What you will learn

Frame the decision

Open with the decision required, not the document history.

Use evidence

Support the recommendation with baseline, options, risk, and roadmap evidence.

Reduce noise

Choose the minimum artefacts required for an executive decision.

Ask clearly

State the approval, funding, authority, or direction required from the forum.

The pack exists to get a decision

An executive architecture pack is not a storage place for every diagram produced during the engagement. It is a decision instrument. It must show the problem, the recommendation, the trade-offs, the risk position, the roadmap, the funding or authority required, and the consequences of delay.

Assemble the decision pack

Use the course artefacts produced so far to assemble a concise architecture pack for an executive decision forum.

Workshop task

Create an executive pack outline with a one-page decision brief and supporting artefact sequence.

Assessment prompt

Explain why each page in the pack is needed and what decision it helps the forum make.

What to submit

Pack outline; decision brief; recommended artefact order; approval request; risk summary.
